Gouranga Dasa (B.Tech., Indian Institute of Technology Bombay) is a monk, social innovator, environmental steward, and global advocate for sustainability, conscious living, and ethical leadership. He is widely recognized for integrating spiritual wisdom with contemporary development models . His work has been featured on international platforms such as the United Nations, and in 2025 he was named to the Forttuna Global 100: The Power List, honoring global leaders shaping the future.

He serves as the Director of Govardhan Ecovillage, a UNWTO award-winning eco-village accredited by UNEP, UNCCD, UNECOSOC, and the Convention on Biological Diversity. He is UNEP’s Faith for Earth Counsellor and a Fellow of the Indian Green Building Council, recognized for contributions to regenerative development, green buildings, and ecological stewardship.

Within International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Gouranga Dasa is a member of the Governing Body Commission (GBC) with global responsibility for Human Resource Development and Capacity Building. He also serves as Co-President of ISKCON Chowpatty, contributing to leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and institutional culture.

He is a Founding Board Member of Bhaktivedanta University, Vrindavan, and Rishihood University, Sonipat; an advisor to the Ekatma Dham Project; and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Central Sanskrit University. He also serves as Administrative Director of the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre, Kolkata, focused on advanced research, higher education, and preservation of ancient Vedic manuscripts. His work extends to global food systems through the Native Food Matters initiative and contributions to G20-linked C20 efforts on food security and sustainable lifestyles.

A renowned chef and social entrepreneur, he has overseen mega kitchens serving over 8.5 million meals, including 5 million during the 2025 Mahakumbh Mela. He leads large-scale rural initiatives in food security, ecological restoration, and skill development, and serves as Governor of the Global Council for Responsible Artificial Intelligence (GCRAI), India Chapter.
