Martina serves as the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Belgium in Bahrain and is a distinguished entrepreneur with a remarkable track record in the global motorsport and advanced manufacturing industries. With an academic foundation in Economics from Kortrijk, she began her entrepreneurial journey in 1991, demonstrating early on a strong vision for building and scaling impactful businesses.

A defining milestone in her career came in 1999, when she acquired the renowned Bell Auto Racing Helmets brand. As Chief Executive Officer, Martina successfully transformed Bell into the world’s leading racing helmet manufacturer, setting new benchmarks in safety, innovation, and performance. Under her leadership, the brand became synonymous with excellence and was trusted by some of the most iconic names in motorsport, including Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, and Kimi Räikkönen. Her leadership and strategic foresight were recognized with Belgium’s prestigious KBC Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001.

Following the successful sale of her shares in the Bell Group in 2020, Martina continued to expand her entrepreneurial footprint. She founded Kikashi, a consulting and management firm focused on strategic advisory, business transformation, and leadership development. Through this venture, she supports organizations in navigating complex market environments and unlocking sustainable growth opportunities.

Further strengthening her global presence, Martina co-founded The Caralium Project, a Bahrain- and Morocco-based composite manufacturing company specializing in high-performance sporting goods. This venture reflects her continued commitment to innovation, cross-border collaboration, and the development of advanced manufacturing capabilities.
