Women Changing the World Awards (WCWA) is an international recognition initiative dedicated to celebrating women whose leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, education, and social impact are creating meaningful change. Founded in Australia, the initiative has expanded its reach across more than 77 countries, recognising leaders whose achievements extend beyond professional success to include responsibility, ethical leadership, and contribution to society.
The Czech and Slovak Edition, founded by entrepreneur, mentor, and visionary Kamila Paličková, brings this international platform to the region with a strong focus on empowering women in business and leadership. The inaugural Czech and Slovak edition was held in Prague and featured 29 award categories, celebrating accomplished women across diverse fields.
More than an awards platform, WCWA connects recognition with purpose. Its evaluation considers not only professional and financial achievements, but also innovation, ethical leadership, social contribution, and long-term impact. The Czech and Slovak Edition is supported by a distinguished jury comprising leaders from business, media, academia, and entrepreneurship.
Through its global network, regional editions, distinguished jury, ambassadors, and commitment to social impact, Women Changing the World Awards seeks to do more than celebrate achievement, it aims to amplify women whose work is helping shape a more inclusive, empowered, and purposeful future.
