Vidya Malkani is a procurement and supply chain professional with two decades of experience supporting organisations in strengthening procurement capability and improving business outcomes through structured, practical approaches. Based in the UAE, she has worked across the GCC and international markets, partnering with organisations across multiple sectors to help procurement functions evolve in line with business needs.

She is the Founder and Managing Partner of VMC Consulting, an advisory firm focused on procurement transformation, digital enablement, governance frameworks, and capability building. Vidya’s work is centred on bridging strategy and execution helping teams simplify complexity, improve decision-making, and embed sustainable practices that extend beyond short-term cost savings.

Vidya led the development of VMX, a platform designed to make procurement tools, insights, and best practices more accessible and scalable. Through this work, she continues to explore how technology and data can support more consistent, value-led procurement operations.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (FCIPS), Vidya remains actively engaged in advancing professional standards within the field. She regularly contributes to industry discussions and speaks at forums and conferences on topics such as procurement transformation, digital maturity, strategic negotiations, and operating model design.

Her work has been acknowledged through several industry recognitions, including Innovative Procurement Leader of the Year, Top 100 Women Leaders in the Middle East, and recognition as an Exemplary Woman Leader of the Year 2025 as part of the Global 200 Women Power Leaders.
