Sofica C Bistriceanu is a member of the Academy for Professionalism in Health Care, serves on the Editorial Leadership Board of The Journal of Patient Experience (JPX), and is an Associate Editor for Primera Scientific Publication. She also represents the Academic Medical Unit – CMI Bistriceanu S. in Neamț, Romania, contributing to professional dialogue surrounding patient experience, medical research, and evolving approaches to healthcare delivery.

With extensive experience in family medicine, Sofica C Bistriceanu pioneered a medical home model within her private practice more than a decade ago. Beginning in 2008, she expanded healthcare delivery directly into patients' homes, particularly supporting individuals with advanced cardiac conditions, mobility challenges, and children experiencing acute illnesses. This approach enabled her to observe social, environmental, technological, cultural, and communication-related factors that may influence patients' health beyond what is typically visible during conventional clinical consultations.

Drawing on these observations, Sofica C Bistriceanu has explored interdisciplinary perspectives on the relationship between communication, environment, human behaviour, and health. She has presented her hypotheses regarding how repeated harmful communication and external influences may affect human wellbeing and physiological equilibrium for consideration and discussion within international medical communities.

A prolific contributor to international academic discourse, Sofica C Bistriceanu has delivered more than 150 presentations at conferences and professional meetings worldwide and authored 65 articles in international publications. Her work and professional contributions have also earned her numerous awards and recognitions throughout her career.

Beyond medicine and research, Sofica C Bistriceanu is an accomplished literary author. She has published seven volumes of poetry through Cronica and Time Publishing House in Iasi, reflecting a multidisciplinary career that brings together medicine, scientific inquiry, communication, creativity, and the human experience.
