Ng Yeong Khian Charles, ND, is the Founder of SkinEthos Clinic and a naturopath dedicated to advancing personalised, non-invasive approaches to skin health through the integration of science, nature, and innovation. His work focuses on helping individuals achieve healthier skin and greater confidence through preventive, evidence-informed, and holistic care.

Originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer at the National University of Singapore, Charles developed a strong foundation in research, systems thinking, and problem-solving. His growing interest in human health and wellbeing led him to transition from engineering into the fields of natural health, nutrition, and skin science, where he later pursued doctoral studies and cultivated a lifelong commitment to preventive healthcare.

His journey into skin health began in 1992 when he started developing skincare remedies to address his own skin concerns. What began as a personal pursuit evolved into more than two decades of research, clinical practice, and innovation. Since establishing his professional practice in 2003, Charles has collaborated with phytochemists, engineers, and healthcare professionals to develop proprietary skincare formulations, treatment systems, and evidence-informed methodologies designed to support long-term skin health and wellbeing.

Today, Charles is recognised for combining analytical rigour with a compassionate and holistic approach to patient care. Through SkinEthos Clinic, he champions plant-based innovation, healthy ageing, and preventive skin health. His work is driven by a vision to normalise integrative and non-invasive skincare while making effective, personalised solutions more accessible and affordable.
