Dr. Manish Bhatnagar is a distinguished Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Therapeutic Endoscopist based in Ahmedabad, with over three decades of extensive clinical and academic experience. He completed his medical training at B.J. Medical College and went on to earn his DM in Gastroenterology from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Sion Hospital under Mumbai University.

Recognized as a pioneer in the field of gastroenterology, Dr. Bhatnagar has played a pivotal role in establishing and leading gastroenterology departments across several renowned institutions, including Sterling Hospital, SAL Hospital, Pukhraj Raichand Hospital, Medisurge Hospital, Rajasthan Hospital, and ICON Hospital. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 300,000 procedures, demonstrating exceptional expertise and commitment to patient care. Notably, he was the first in Western India to perform a Fecal Microbiota Transplant, marking a significant advancement in the region’s medical practice.

Dr. Bhatnagar has contributed extensively to medical literature, with multiple publications and book chapters to his credit. He has also been honored with numerous awards from government bodies, non-governmental institutions, and social organizations in recognition of his contributions to healthcare.

Beyond clinical practice, he is deeply engaged in mentoring young gastroenterologists and fostering the next generation of medical professionals. With a keen interest in medical entrepreneurship and healthcare economics, he has been instrumental in establishing four private hospitals, with a vision to bring quality healthcare services to underserved regions.
